SilencerCo’s Omega 36M offers a light, compact, modular option for centerfire rifles. The short configuration, or rear core module, is designed with stellite blast baffles, and a supporting Inconel baffle, which allows for the 36M to withstand heavy fire. If you choose to run the Omega 36M in the long configuration, the front module section is made up of a lightweight 17-4 stainless steel with a durable heat treatment to assist in tool grade wear resistance. Offering compatibility with all Charlie style mounting systems, including ASR, direct thread, 3-lug, and piston housings, the opportunities truly seem endless, and the 36M is ready for the heat!
The handy lockring on the Omega 36M ensures the suppressor stays firmly on your firearm while the titanium outer tube offers a durable, lightweight exterior. The rear and front Charlie mounting systems offer, respectively, a better mount to suppressor retention, and an updated front end cap that does not require tools to install and uninstall.
While the Omega 36M is best suited for centerfire rifles, it also offers the ability to run on magnum rifles, 9mm pistols, and sub guns. For a comparison, the SilencerCo Omega 300 in the long configuration offers the ability to run only on rifles, whereas the Omega 36M offers more versatility with its ability to run on both rifle and pistol calibers. As another comparison, the SilencerCo Hybrid runs on rifles and pistols, however, the Omega 36M offers the modularity to run on a shorter, lighter configuration, or a longer, quieter configuration.
